Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Perth. Supporting Better Healing.
Healing begins at the cellular level.
We support people across a broad spectrum of health — from those proactively investing in energy, recovery and long-term wellbeing, to those navigating injury, surgery, neurological conditions, chronic fatigue, skin health concerns, complex health challenges or cancer treatment as part of their broader healthcare.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy increases oxygen availability to the body’s tissues, supporting cellular energy production, tissue repair, recovery and healthy inflammatory responses.
Providing dedicated HBOT in Perth since 2021, we’ve developed particular experience supporting complex health and cancer care — where individualised protocols, experience and genuine compassion matter.
More than the science of HBOT… a philosophy of care.
We understand that challenging health journeys aren’t only physical. Many of the people we meet have spent months, sometimes years, searching for answers and navigating treatments. Whether you’re here for proactive health and performance or navigating one of the most challenging periods of your life, we take the time to understand your journey and provide thoughtful, personalised support.
How Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Works
HBOT is fundamentally about two things:
↓ Inflammation Reduction
↑ Energy production
Every cell in your body relies on oxygen to produce energy and support the processes involved in repair, recovery and normal cellular function.
During a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session, you relax comfortably inside one of our hard-shell chambers while breathing concentrated oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure. Under pressure, significantly more oxygen can be carried within the plasma component of the blood, increasing oxygen availability throughout the body.
This temporary increase in oxygen availability supports a range of physiological responses that may assist with:
Cellular energy production (ATP)
Tissue repair and recovery
Healthy inflammatory responses
Brain health and cognitive function
Athletic recovery and performance
Recovery following surgery or injury
Nervous system regulation
Healthy ageing and overall wellbeing
Many clients tell us they feel calmer, clearer and more energised following their sessions, with some also noticing improvements in sleep and recovery.
We believe strongly in the power of HBOT, but Studio2 has always been about more than that. It’s the people we meet, the journeys we become part of and the community that keeps growing around us that we love most.
Why choose Studio2?
Dedicated to HBOT since 2021.
Studio2 was one of Perth’s early dedicated HBOT providers, opening in 2021. Since then, years of hands-on experience have shaped our approach, deepened our knowledge and built particular expertise across proactive health, complex recovery and supportive cancer care.
Individualised, not one-size-fits-all.
We use hard-shell hyperbaric chambers with a range of pressure options, allowing sessions and protocols to be considered according to the individual, their goals, health journey and base line health.
Experience in complex health & cancer support.
Alongside proactive health, performance and recovery, we have developed particular experience supporting people navigating complex health challenges and cancer care. We understand these journeys often involve multiple practitioners and treatments, and where appropriate, HBOT may form part of that broader support network.
A genuinely personal approach.
We’re a small, close-knit team. We take the time to understand why you’re here, answer your questions and make sure you feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout your time with us.
Experienced HBOT. Individualised protocols. Genuine care.
Supporting Complex Journeys & Cancer Care
Some health journeys require a more considered approach.
Studio2 has developed particular experience supporting people navigating complex health challenges and cancer care, where HBOT may form part of a broader care and recovery plan.
We have a particular interest in working collaboratively with clients and their healthcare provider or coaches where metabolic approaches to cancer care are being explored, considering how HBOT may appropriately complement their broader protocol.
We take the time to understand the individual, consider treatment timing and work within the context of their existing care.
-

PEAK PERFORMANCE.
Performance starts with energy.
HBOT supports cellular energy production (ATP), giving your body the oxygen it needs to recover, repair and perform at its best. By increasing oxygen availability to working tissues, it supports healthy inflammatory responses and helps your body recover more efficiently between training sessions.
Many athletes incorporate HBOT into their routine to reduce muscle fatigue, maintain mental clarity, recover faster and return to training with more energy and resilience.
-

ENERGY BOOSTING.
Every cell in your body relies on tiny structures called mitochondria to produce energy. Often referred to as the body's "powerhouses," mitochondria use oxygen to generate ATP—the energy that powers everything from your brain and muscles to your immune system and recovery processes.
HBOT increases the amount of oxygen available to your body's tissues, helping support efficient ATP production and healthy mitochondrial function. By creating the conditions for your cells to produce energy more effectively, HBOT may help improve stamina, reduce fatigue and support both physical and mental performance.
-

BRAIN & COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING.
Your brain is one of the most oxygen-dependent organs in the body, relying on a constant supply of oxygen to produce the energy needed for focus, memory, concentration and overall cognitive function.
HBOT increases the amount of oxygen available to brain tissue, supporting cellular energy production (ATP), healthy inflammatory responses and the brain's natural repair processes.
HBOT has also been explored in a growing body of research for a range of neurological conditions and brain injuries, with ongoing studies investigating its role in supporting recovery and improving quality of life.
-

PAIN & INFLAMMATION.
Inflammation is a natural part of the body's healing response, but when it becomes excessive or persists for too long, it can contribute to ongoing pain, delayed healing and reduced tissue function.
HBOT increases the amount of oxygen available to your body's tissues, allowing significantly more oxygen to dissolve into the blood plasma and reach areas where oxygen demand is high or delivery may be compromised. This enhanced oxygen availability supports healthy inflammatory responses, tissue repair and the body's natural healing processes.
-

IMMUNE MODULATION.
HBOT has been shown to influence a range of natural processes involved in immune regulation and healing. By increasing oxygen availability at a cellular level, HBOT supports healthy inflammatory responses while stimulating the body's own antioxidant defence systems, including glutathione.
Often referred to as the body's "master antioxidant," glutathione helps protect cells from oxidative stress and supports normal immune function. Together, these responses help create an internal environment that supports recovery, repair and overall wellbeing.
-

ANTI-AGEING.
Healthy ageing starts at the cellular level.
As we age, our cells become less efficient at producing energy, repairing damage and maintaining healthy tissue. HBOT increases the amount of oxygen available to your body's tissues, supporting cellular energy production (ATP), healthy inflammatory responses and the body's natural repair processes.
This improved cellular environment also supports healthy skin by encouraging tissue repair, collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis). Together, these processes help nourish the skin from within, supporting improved skin health, texture and overall vitality.
Sessions last for 60-90min in our hard chambers, with pressure ranging from 1.3ata to 2ata.
During their time in the chamber, most people will read, take care of some personal admin, meditate, focus on stretching out your body or most likely…have a nap!
Prioritise practicing self care in the form that works best for you!

Podcast: 🎧 What oxygen and red light therapy can offer the perimenopausal body.
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with the wonderful Alex Field from My Holistic Therapist to chat about two therapies I'm incredibly passionate about—Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Full-Body Red Light Therapy.
Our conversation explores why supporting the body at a cellular level matters, especially during perimenopause and menopause, when so many women are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and disconnected from themselves. We talk about the relationship between stress, the nervous system, inflammation, recovery and energy, and why I believe healing isn't about chasing symptoms—it's about creating the right environment for the body to do what it was designed to do.
Whether you're simply curious about these therapies or looking for new ways to support your health, I hope this conversation leaves you feeling informed, empowered and hopeful. I thoroughly enjoyed this chat with Alex, and I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording it.
